Conversation & Pronunciation in Wimbledon | School of English
This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your communication skills. Our Conversation and Pronunciation classes take place in small groups to allow as much speaking time as possible. Teachers will help you to improve your accuracy and fluency by carefully correcting mistakes and encouraging practice. Class exercises will be given according to your skill level and personal requirements.
Conversation and Pronunciation classes focus on:
- fluency and
- conversational language in various contexts
What is included in our Conversation and Pronunciation Course?
- 1 hour of Conversation & Pronunciation class each week (5 days per week)
- Regular tutorials and reviews
- Free Wi-Fi access
- Certificate of attendance
How long is the course?
The minimum enrolment is 1 week. There is no maximum enrolment. You can study for as long as you wish.
When can I start?
Every week with a Monday start throughout the year (except national public and Christmas breaks).
What time are the Conversation and Pronunciation classes?
1 hour per day within the following timeslots: 9 am - 12 pm or 12 pm - 3 pm or 6 pm to 9 pm (subject to availability)
Your class may be in the morning, the afternoon or evening depending on your level.
How many students in a class?
The average number is 6 - the maximum is 15.
What is the minimum age?
Whilst our minimum age for individuals is 16, Students aged under 18 are not supervised except in lessons and on class excursions.
Level of English offered and CEFR equivalents
A2 = Pre-intermediate
B1 = Intermediate/Upper Intermediate
B2 = Upper Intermediate
C1 = Pre-advanced/Advanced

Conversation & Pronunciation Course Content
All Conversation and Pronunciation lessons are teacher-led, dynamic and combine all aspects of language skills; listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
Conversation & Pronunciation Course Material
Course material consists of a coursebook and supplementary material such as Cds, CDROMs, and online resources.
