The Office of College Communications oversees the college's overall advertising and marketing campaign. The office negotiates for general advertising aimed at promoting the college's image in publications aimed at prospective students and their parents.

The office will also assist individual departments who may wish to place advertisements to promote specific programs or classes. If a department wishes to purchase advertising, College Communications will:

• Meet with the department representative to determine the best, most economical approach to promotion.
• Assist with the planning, writing and design of the advertisement.
• Negotiate with the newspaper to get the best price.
• Negotiate placement of the ad to ensure the best visibility for the ad.
